This poster and its linguistic audit were originally developed within the English-language clinical ecosystem to address a specific diagnostic barrier: the over-reliance on the ambiguous term “weakness” (debilidad). The intent of providing this translated visual scale is to ensure that the vital clinical distinction between passive states of fatigue and the active motor phenomena of cataplexy is accurately maintained, equipping patients and providers with high-resolution concepts regardless of their primary language.
